Anne McPhail Equine Performance Center College of Veterinary Medicine Michigan State University presents a Farrier Clinic Sunday 15 February 2004 Workshop goals are: 1) educte those entrusted with the care of horses, 2) encourage a dialogue between horse oweners, veterinarians and farriers, and 3) demonstrate the correct way to trim a horse in regards to its skeletal alignment. Format: begin at 9 am with a lecture followed by lunch. At about 1 pm, three horses will be evaluated and trimmed applying the concepts discussed in the morning. Dr Bowker, a leading MSU veterinarian in studies of the hoof will be presenting his findings as well as Cappi Rohgan, a Master Farrier at the College.The event is being held at the McPhail Equine Performance Center located behind the MSU Veterinary Clinical Center on the corner of Bogue St. and Wilson Rd., MSU Campus (see Directions). St. Croix Forge has graciously donated funding so that this seminar can be affordable.
