The McPhail Equine Performance Center is one of the buildings in the College of Veterinary Medicine complex, located on the south-east corner of Wilson Road and Bogue Street on the campus of Michigan State University. The center is located on the south side of the Veterinary Medicine parking lot that is accessed from Bogue Street. The building is unique in that it has a green roof and several cupolas with Spartan flags (the proverbial "Can't miss it"). Directions from out of town The two main freeways leading into East Lansing are I-96 and I-69. On either road, take the US 127 exit. On I-96, take US 127 North (exit 106) and on I-69, take US 127 South (exit 89). Once on US 127, take the Trowbridge Road exit (exit 9). Trowbridge Road will come to a set of lights when it intersects Harrison Road. This is the western edge of the MSU campus. Continue through the intersection, taking Trowbridge road onto campus. The road will wind eastward for a while. The road will bend to the north and become Red Cedar Road (Trowbridge continues to your right at the bend but don't take it) and you will encounter a traffic light. Turn right at the traffic light onto Wilson Road. Follow Wilson Road east through one set of lights until you reach a second traffic light. This traffic light will be the intersection of Wilson Road and Bogue Street. The College of Veterinary Medicine complex is the set of buildings on the right hand side across Bogue Street (the south-east corner).   To get to the Equine Performance Center: (Please read about parking in the next section) Make a right at the traffic light onto Bogue Street. Immediately to your left will be a parking lot surrounded by a chain link fence. Take the second entrance into the parking lot. The McPhail Center is located on the south side of this parking lot. (If you cross railroad tracks on Bogue Street, you have gone too far!)   Parking at the Equine Performance Center: If you arriving on a week day and you do not have an MSU parking pass, spaces are just about nonexistent. MSU has visitor parking not far from the Veterinary College in the Wharton Center parking lot. To get to the visitor parking, make a left at the traffic light (instead of the right mentioned above) and head north on Bogue Street. You will come to a traffic circle. This is Shaw Lane.
