How to Submit Samples
The repository welcomes the submission of cheek swabs and blood for the DNA repository. Since correct diagnosis of each tumor is critical for the quality of the repository, we encourage everyone to submit formalin fixed tissue samples for histopathology for the diagnostic work-up of each case to the Diagnostic Center for Population and Animal Health at MSU. In addition, an additional formalin fixed sample can be submitted to the repository. But, for RNA analysis of tumor tissue, we would like to obtain fresh frozen samples of tumors for the repository.
